Please Help Mom Get Back Home.

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

I hope this message finds you well. It's been a while since I've been active on social media, as my family and I have been navigating through some unexpected challenges that life has thrown our way. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the love and support we've received thus far.

My name is Michael Eugene Norris Jr., a Disabled United States Marine Corps combat veteran. After nearly five years of service, I was medically discharged due to injuries sustained in Afghanistan while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Today, I'm reaching out to share a bit of our family's journey and to humbly ask for your help. Two years ago, a car accident uncovered a small tumor in my mother's chest, setting off a series of challenges we never imagined. Since then, my wife and I have been dedicated to supporting my parents through their battles with cancer, shuttling between Jasper, AL, and Trenton, GA, for countless appointments and treatments.

Despite our efforts and unwavering faith, the cancer has spread, leaving my mother's mobility declining rapidly not being able to write or use hands and my father facing his own medical complications from adrenal shutdown caused by cancer treatment as well. As their primary caregiver, I'm doing everything I can to provide for both of them, but the weight of responsibility is immense, and I find myself at a loss for options.

Since i have had to stop working to take care of both parents. In the midst of this turmoil, my wife and I had hoped to launch Patriot State Elite Landscapes LLC, a venture that would provide financial stability and allow us to find housing and care for my mother in Trenton. However, we're struggling to make this dream a reality with my Traveling.

I must admit that pride has often kept me from asking for help, but I've come to realize that there are times when we must set aside our pride in the face of overwhelming need, trust in God that he will provide a way. So, with humility, I reach out to you, our extended family and community, for assistance.

We urgently need to find a suitable rental for my mom and brother in Trenton or Dade County, GA, so that I can care for them with the love and dedication they deserve. If anyone can offer assistance, whether through donations or connections to available housing options, it would mean the world to us.

All funds raised will go towards finding a permanent home for my mother, covering moving expenses, storage, and other related costs. She currently has a few medical bills that needs paid. She also needs a PET Scan done that insurance wants more than she can afford.

If everyone would please not bother my parents with this fund, I'm at a loss for options. She needs attention that i cant give when im taking care of my father also. I wouldn't ask if I didn't feel it's needed immediately. I am desperate and need my momma closer. She needs more help than what my brother can provide because of his full time my mom cant go anywhere without a walker because of risk of Falling and breaking a bone.
