About a week ago, Sparky developed a sac-like bump next to his anus that was accompanied by severe constipation. After taking him to the vet, he has been diagnosed with a hernia for unknown reasons that requires a surgical procedure to remove it from his colon as soon as possible. Without this surgical procedure, it will be an immediate life threatening risk factor for Sparky. As we all know, surgical procedures for pets are very costly in addition to blood works and constant examinations. Sparky is truly my best friend, and has been in my family's life for nearly a decade, filling our days up with joy and happiness with his energy and love. This is a very tough time for everyone who has been in Sparky's life as this financial barrier is inhibiting us from giving Sparky the needed care and treatment for his condition.
