Charming Apollo was surrendered to the rescue as a failed guard dog. And a failure he is, he’s the sweetest, most loving, gentle giant. All who have met him are taken by him immediately. His eyes tell the story. Apollo was limping, I gave him some anti-inflammatory medication. Didn’t see much in the way of relief. Took him in to be checked out since the limping persisted. X-rays revealed this sweet boy has HORRID hips. Our options are FHO (Femoral Head Osteomy) or full hip replacement ($8,000) obviously as a rescue we have to choose the one most affordable. I have already spent almost $700 on 2 vet visits for this boy, but he deserves the world. We need your help, Apollo would love to be pain free and I wish that for him. He will be having surgery at Pedley Square with Dr. Scott. I’ve created this fundraiser to help raise funds for this gentle giant.
