Memorial and Final Expenses for Rosie Freels

As many of you know Alecia and Alena’s mom, Rosemary (Rosie) (Rose) Freels gained her wings and is no longer in pain.

On Wednesday September 7th their mom was driving Alena’s car to a cardiologist appointment and just a few miles down the road she went into cardiac arrest resulting in her driving off of the road and stopping once the car hit a telephone pole. The person that witnessed the wreck immediately went to the car, but it was locked and called 911. The first responders arrived and had to break the back window in to get to her. They were able to revive her.

Once at the hospital the family was told that she had a broken nose, broken vertebrae in her neck and several broken ribs. Along with not knowing exactly how long her brain went without oxygen.

The first 72 hours was a waiting game, keeping her body temperature down keeping her comfortable.

Late Saturday they were able to take her for a MRI to determine how much damage was done to the brain. The results were as expected, she had went to long without oxygen and there was extensive damage done to the brain with no change of recovery. The hard decision had to be made to let her go.

The family was called in and once everyone had said their goodbyes the machines were removed and her last heart beat was at 8:40 on 9-11-22.

Alecia and Alena have a lot on their plate right now. This is why I asked if they were okay with a GoFund Me page to help them with the final expenses of their mom.

Please pray for peace and comfort for the entire family especially for Alecia, Alena and the grandchildren Kooper, Kaiya, and Weston during this difficult time.
