Yahaira Portela

Yahaira was a 20 year old who had a lifetime of experiences ahead of her. She was making a career in the medical field to give to the community and family. She was devote to God and her family. She would give until there was nothing left to give, she was generous and kind beyond belief. She could light up the room, as well as, bright and beautiful. So full of life, everyone loved her. She was the oldest of 8 children, she was the doppelganger to her mama. She was not only a daughter, but a sister, granddaughter, niece and friend.

Words cannot describe how difficult this has been on the family.

But her life and her best friends life was sadly cut short on July 17th due to a drunk driver driving the wrong way. Sadly we will never get to see her, hear her or hug her again. Her family is completely devastated by the loss and in need of the community's help for the family expenses. Anything helps ease the massive burden off the family.
