Helping Ray to Recovery

      When Ray went to the doctor back in June of this year, he thought his headaches might be a sinus infection or something.  The last diagnosis he thought he would hear was throat cancer.  Unfortunately,that's exactly what happened. Ray has been going through chemo and radiation therapy for months now. He had his last treatment this past week. Now he waits to see how it worked. The treatments have left him weak and unable to work.  Sometimes when it rains, it really does pour. The cancer diagnosis came right as Ray was getting cleared to return to his garage from shoulder surgery back in March!  
      Ever the thinker, Ray hired a great guy, Dan, to man the garage for him.  Repairs are slow right now but the bills keep coming. The medical bills are mounting. I know Ray, he would never ask for a dime, but would give his last penny to help someone else.

     Ray Kozimor is my friend. Ray has many friends and there is a reason for that.  If you have never talked to Ray, I suggest you do. He will look you in the eye, stop whatever he's doing (even work) and listen, a rare thing in this world. He never turns away from a conversation without leaving you happy you stopped to chat or pick his brain. He is loyal to his family, a loving husband and proud father. He is proud of being a local boy and has been a volunteer coach, Tiger Wrestling and TSA to name two, and a volunteer fireman for Independence Township.

      Ever since Ray was diagnosed, I have wanted to do something to help. I can't make the cancer go away and I can't turn a wrench. Please help as you can and make a donation to take a little of the burden off Ray so that he can concentrate on his recovery and hear the words one day soon "You're cancer free!".
