Hi everyone!

This has been one of the hardest times in my life. My sweet Choco has been through so much in the past year— what started as lethargy and small changes in behavior quickly turned into something much more serious. After many vet visits, tests, and treatments, we learned that his entire leg was severely infected. He was rushed into immediate hospitalization for surgery. The doctors are performing this to suction out the infection and search for the root cause.

This has been emotionally devastating and financially overwhelming. To say the least… it has been so difficult to see Choco in a miserable amount of pain. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than seeing your baby yelp in pain. Choco has seen multiple vets in the best care, but with the cause being unknown this has been extremely scary for us. As a young 2.5 year old labrador retriever this is extremely rare and unexpected.

I’m doing everything in my power to assure he’s taken care of and I would do it all over again because that’s my baby and he deserves every single chance in living a healthy & happy life. I’m pouring my all into him yet I still can’t help but to feel like I wish there was more I could do.

I’m sharing this to not only update our friends and family, but also give everyone who feels moved the opportunity to support.
