Help Dalton while he recovers from severe ALD & Sepsis — Support him and his 6 month old daughter.
Hi everyone,
My name is Brittlynn. I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but our family is going through the hardest time we’ve ever faced, and we truly need help.
My partner, Dalton, has been battling severe ald and sepsis, which led to multiple long and traumatic hospital stays. What started as the sudden discovery of his illness quickly turned life-threatening. His body went into crisis, and he has spent weeks in the hospital fighting to survive. There were moments we truly didn’t know if he would make it.
Dalton is now home, but he is still extremely weak and far from recovered. His body is extremely swollen. He cannot stand for long, struggles with basic movement, and is nowhere near physically able to return to work. Doctors have made it clear that his recovery will be long and uncertain, requiring ongoing care, rest, and medical follow-up.
At the same time, our family has just welcomed a new baby, and we are trying to maintain our apartment and basic living expenses on one income while caring for Dalton and our children. Between rent, utilities, food, baby supplies, and mounting medical-related costs, we are overwhelmed. Our rent alone is $1,110 a month. Dalton has always worked hard to provide for us, and it’s heartbreaking to see him unable to do so while also watching him suffer physically and emotionally.
We are asking for help to cover:
- Rent and essential household bills
- Groceries and baby necessities
- Transportation and medical expenses
- Basic living support while Dalton recovers
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward keeping our family stable and safe during this crisis. If you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser means just as much to us.
This has been a terrifying and humbling experience. We are holding onto hope and doing everything we can to support Dalton’s healing and keep our family together during this time. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can express.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, sharing, and helping our family through the most difficult chapter of our lives.
With gratitude,
Dalton and his family.
