Awen's Breast Cancer Journey

My lovely, generous Welsh friend Awen was recently diagnosed with breast cancer which involved surgery, current chemotherapy and radiation treatments which will be ongoing for the next 6 months. Cancer does not discriminate or consider the financial burden, life goes on and bills keep arriving. I went with her today to Centerlink/Social Security and hadn't realised all her sick pay, annual leave and long service leave payments have long finished and she is still yet to receive anything from the government.  She is a very proud, independent lady and we all know she never asks anything of anyone.  I feel it would be amazing if we could help her and the kids out at this challenging time. Many people want to help but are unsure how, I thought this might be a great way to show her how we all feel about her ❤️
