Hey!
My name is Daisi Daniels and I am hoping for your support to help me through my career.
Who am I?
I am an athlete on the British Alpine Ski Team/GB team (FIS Squad). I am from Whitworth, Lancashire, and I train with ski and snowboard club Vail, Colorado. I have represented GBR 11 times, including the Youth Olympic Games 2020 Lausanne and European Youth Olympics 2019 Sarajevo.
I spend the summer season cross training with other sports and gym sessions with my PT Chris Fielding from Fielding Fitness and training on a glacier when possible. The winter season usually runs from October to April, this is when i am away from home.
In my spare time I take part in a program called Inspired through sport, who's mission is to inspire the nation by supporting Great British athletes." We want to encourage every generation into adopting a healthy, active lifestyle. We do this by installing a champion's mindset of determination and positivity." I go to schools and tell the children who I am, my story, goals, mindset, exercises and a few autographs at the end.
Why am I asking for your support?
Skiing is a very expensive sport in itself and grows more expensive as the seasons go on having the costs of equipment, constant travel globally, accommodation, food, coaching and training fees. Which all is funded by family with some donations from sponsors.
2 seasons ago I made the decision to train at Vail so that during the season I have the best facilities and training I can get due to the amazing weather and snow conditions. With training fees, rent, travel, competition fees and food on top in excess of $30,000+ its only going to get more and more expensive. So your help would be very greatly appreciated in order to give myself the best shot at achieving my dreams of skiing World Cup and being classed as a triple Olympian.
