Help Lisa Trotochau - Beat Cancer

Donation protected
As a father, I`m asking you to find it in your heart to help my daughter, Lisa Trotochau, who experienced a most tragic turn of events this past year. Early last year, Lisa lost her job at St. Johns Hospital in Oxnard, California, due to budget cuts in her department. That event meant that her family would no longer be guaranteed an income as her husband, David, was on disability from FedEx. Prior to Lisa losing her job, FedEx stopped paying an agreed upon disability payment, and forced an ongoing lengthy litigation process. In October, Lisa was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. After weeks of frantically searching for the perfect OBGYN-Oncologist, Lisa was finally scheduled for surgery on December the 10th, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, California. Approximately 4 days following successful surgery, Lisa contracted pneumonia, and was taken to the critical care unit, where she had to be intubated and watched 24 hours a day for 10 days.

On January 4th of this year, Lisa came home, and hopefully for good. She is currently being treated by chemotherapy every 3 weeks, and will receive a total of 6 treatments to combat the ovarian cancer. We are so grateful she is home, but she still has a long battle ahead due to the fact that they weren't able to remove all of the cancer. Going through chemo, combined with the stress of their financial situation and not being able to take care of her family, makes it hard for her to stay positive which is extremely critical for her to beat this horrible disease.

Currently, her family has no observable means of income, and the bills are mounting astronomically. Not only are there medical bills, but they are behind on rent, have domestic utility bills, as well as daily food and gasoline expenses.

This is their story. As tragic as the situation appears for the moment, we believe God can overcome this unfortunate set of circumstances. We know there is a way to victory for Lisa, her husband Dave and teen-age sons, Gavin and Cory.

It will be a long road for recovery for them, and anything you can do to help them will be tremendously appreciated. They really have been grateful for the many prayers and love they have been receiving from so many. Above all, please don`t stop praying.

Any donation big or small will help tremendously if we can get enough people to see this and help. So please share.

Thank you for all that you might be able to do for Lisa and her family.

All the best.
