Support for Steve’s Family

Donation protected
With tremendous heartbreak we created this page to share the devastating news that Steve suddenly passed away on December 27th leaving behind his beloved wife Rachel and two young children, Olivia (10) and Leo(7). Steve was not feeling well that day so he came home early from work to get some rest. Later that afternoon Rachel went to check on him and found him not breathing. Rachel called 911 and she and the paramedics tirelessly did everything in their power to bring Steve back, sadly without any luck.

Steve devoted his life to helping others. He spent his last 23 years as a nurse at Beth Israel Hospital often working double shifts and holidays to provide for his family. Steve was the sole provider for his family.

Beyond the heartbreaking devastation of losing her husband and Olivia and Leo’s father, Rachel will soon need to find a way to provide for her family while healing and being a full time mother. Many people have asked what they can do to help. So we have created this page in hopes of easing some of Rachel’s financial stress during this extremely challenging time. Any donation will be so greatly appreciated by Rachel and the kids. You can also leave a message in the comment section for Rachel and the kids to read. On behalf of the Hart family we thank you for your kindness and thoughts.

Below is the link to Steve’s obituary. With information about the services being held on January 2nd and 3rd.
