Luckie had a bad month of November. First, he was viciously attacked by another dog at the dog park. Luckie-ly he bounced back and started to recover. But then, Luckie experienced another unfortunate event. Last week, Luckie started throwing up and not feeling well. We took him to the vet and discovered his spleen was covered in tumors and he was bleeding internally. We did not hesitate to elect life-saving surgery to have his spleen removed. Had we not gone forward with the surgery, there was a good chance Luckie would have not survived that night. Post surgery, Luckie is trying his best to get better but we are left with mounting vet bills which we can not afford.
