Crash’s Surgery from a Dog Attack

Hi, my name is Alison, and today my beautiful dog was attacked while playing in the off-leash area by another dog who couldn’t be controlled, even with them on a leash and harness.

Due to both parties of the incident being extremely emotional, I was unable to get their details, and the people working out there also were unable to gain their details to be contacted.

We were walking along the beach front on the off-leash area at Nudgee Beach, chasing his ball. We walked past the dog on the way up, first he was just harmlessly sniffing Crash while on leash. On the way back to go to the car, the same dog had pulled its owner out of the water to sniff Crash again. I picked up the ball, hoping it wouldn’t cause the other dog to pull on their lead again. He went to sniff Crash again, Crash walked away, and then the other dog jumped onto Crash and latched onto him, keeping his jaw clenched onto Crash’s side for approximately 2 minutes before releasing.

Crash has ended up with 2 deep punctures and now requires surgery. He’s being such a brave boy but because of the accident, it’s leaving us with heavy financial strain.

This traumatic event has flipped the world upside down, any help will be greatly appreciated.
