Hey everyone!!! My name is Jacqueline Dumitrescu, but all my friends call me Jackie D. I am a sophomore in college and am planning on going to Germany for two weeks this upcoming summer for an immersion trip. I will be studying for two classes, a music class on German Romanticism, and a literature class on Ekphrastic literature. We will be using this trip to understand more about the composers, attend performance of the music that we will be studying, and observe everyday life in Germany as we prepare our final literature project. Now, don't get me wrong, this is also going to be a fun tip, with sight-seeing, and museum tours. But I wanted to clarify that the trip's most important purpose is for my education.
