I'm Ziare Thomas and I'm 20 years old. I attended Island Academy from Grade 1-7, then Irene B. Williams Secondary School from grade 8-11. Whilst at both  schools, I had the pleasure in captaining our boys' football team. I play for Sweets FC, which is in the top division (premier league) in Antigua.

I think of myself as an outgoing person. I like the outdoors, going on hikes, chilling at the beach with friends and most importantly: I love playing football/soccer. I’m very approachable, easy to talk to, a good listener and a fast learner. I  like cracking jokes because I enjoy seeing people laugh.

About 2 years ago I sat down and asked myself “what career would I like to pursue in life?”. It took me about 5 minutes to come to the conclusion that football is what I love and that’s the dream I’m going to chase. One morning, my coach called me and  said I had the opportunity to go away on trials in Germany to play at Semi professional level. This was the best news I’ve ever received in my life. I always said to myself I only needed one opportunity and that would be all I need. This is that one opportunity!

Please help me achieve my dreams and represent Antigua and Barbuda on the world stage in Germany. Thank you so much!
