Help Suzy fight stage 4 metastasized breast cancer

Suzy, a woman in her late fourties, has spent her life mostly on the west coast and for the last 13 years happily on Vancouver island. Her family support network consists primarily of her mother Lee and brother Daniel. 

If you were a patron of one of the popular establishments Suzy has worked at in the past (St James Well in Port Moody, Rusty Gull in North Van or the Quarter Way pub in Nanaimo) you will surely remember her serving you with brilliant smiles, consistent good humour and an infectious laugh. Her natural beauty and smile truly light up any room she walks into. 

In April of 2022 our dear friend was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and underwent surgery to have the tumour and four lymph nodes removed that June. Sadly one year later the cancer had metastasized to a stage four diagnosis spreading to her breastbone, spine, lung, and hips. 

Suzy has worked hard her entire life and has maintained her independence. Due to the physical demands and depletion of savings, it has left her reaching out to loved ones and all of you to help with rising expenses for continued treatment, and for when the time comes when she will be unable to work.

We are hoping this plea on Suzy’s behalf is seen by her many friends, past patrons and acquaintances and anyone else that may be able to help her fight her toughest battle.
