Meet 5 yr old Chi spaniel named Eric 'the king' Cantona. 

Eric is an excited family pup who loves jumping in the river and playing tug of war. He enjoys chasing balls and being with his family ❤️ he is deeply Loved by his Human Shane Stubbington.

Michelle Saul & Shane Stubbington 

They reside at Kwantlen First Nation. Both currently working full time jobs, Michelle as a Medical Transportation driver and her partner Shane, when possible is an archeological field worker for Kwantlen. Currently he is working within his community as a gatekeeper. 

Michelle's older sister's dog had puppies. Instead of asking for money her sister only asked for a hand painted drum. So they traded a beautiful hand made painted drum (by Michelle) for Eric.

From that point on it was absolute adoration. Eric is named after ones of Shanes favorite football ⚽️ hero's Eric Cantona. They are inseparable and enjoy hikes, rivers, ball and cuddles. Eric means a lot to them. Shane was at the beginning of his sobriety. (2016) when they adopted Eric.

They need help! They're pup is being treated at the best Veterinary Specialty Hospital here in Langley. 

Since August 3rd he has endured sudden pain and paralysis of the lower back and hind legs. We brought him for emergency treatment and care that cost approx $1000 (payroll advance that was gone in just a few transactions!)

While waiting for medication to take affect, They remained hopeful. Then they learned at the follow up that there was no improvement and that his condition actually worsened. They continued anti inflammatory and pain meds to wait for loan apps to be approved...but nothing was. It's a lot of money to ask for!

August 19, They still don't know if it's injury, disease or infection. None of this can be determined without operating. A startling $11000!

We are working at sharing their page to appropriate groups and have had only one courtesy post so far.
