Raising Money for the British Heart Foundation

Tax deductible
Last week I was diagnosed with a heart condition - Wolf Parkinson White syndrome (WPW). This means I have a hole in one of the chambers of my heart and it causes an overload of electrical currents in my heart, which leads to me having palpitation attacks. Luckily, there is a cure for my condition, I have to have heart surgery where they fuse the hole in my heart back together and after this surgery my life should (hopefully) go back to normal. Like any surgery, there are risks that come with it, unfortunately the risks of this surgery are high. 1 in 200 chance I suffer a heart attack on the table and a 1 in 1000 chance I could die. But if I don’t get the surgery, there is a chance my heart could just stop. Obviously at 24 no one expects that they need an operation on their heart to be able to live their full life, but unfortunately, this is the case and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared. So with all of this in mind, before my operation, on the 25th November, I am doing a sponsored 15K walk with some of my friends and family and we will be raising money for the British heart foundation because without organisations like this, there wouldn’t be a cure for WPW. Any donations to my go fund me would be massively appreciated, even if it’s as little as £1, the research they do can really help change lives.
