Hello,
My name is Emily and I am setting up this fundraiser to help pay for the expenses for my mom’s funeral services. My mom was battling cancer for 3 years and on November 30, 2021 she passed away peacefully. She was a hardworking, loving, and caring person but most of all an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone who knew her. She made the sacrifice of leaving her home country Guatemala to come to the Unites States to provide for her family and stayed here for many years. Before she passed, she always talked about going back to Guatemala to be where majority of her family are, which includes my aunts, uncles, cousins, my older sister Silvia and my 2 nephews, and my family and I want to be able to fulfill that because it’s what she deserves. The funds from this fundraiser will be used to help pay for her casket, the transportation to Guatemala, and for any other funeral expenses. We would really appreciate your help in sending my mom back home. Thank you

Mi nombre es Emily y estoy organizando esta recaudación para ayudar a pagar los gastos de los servicios funerarios de mi mamá. Mi mamá lucho contra el cancer por 3 años y el 30 de Noviembre de 2021 ella falleció. Ella era una persona trabajadora, cariñosa, y amable pero sobre todo una maravillosa madre, abuela, hermana, tia, y amiga para todos los que la conocían. Hizo el sacrificio de dejar su país de origen, Guatemala, para venir a los Estados Unidos para mantener a su familia y se quedó aquí por muchos años. Antes de su fallecimiento, ella siempre hablaba de regresar a Guatemala para estar con la mayoría de su familia que incluye a mis tíos, tias, primos, mi hermana mayor Silvia, y mis 2 sobrinos, y mi familia y yo queremos poder cumplir con eso porque es lo que ella merece. Los recaudaciones se utilizarán para ayudar pagar su ataúd, la transportación a Guatemala y cualquier otro gasto funerario. Realmente apreciáramos su ayuda para enviar mi mamá de regreso a casa.
