My name is Brandi, and I am reaching out for help as my family faces the most challenging time of our lives. My husband, Eric, has been diagnosed with an aggressive, incurable brain tumor that has already spread. His doctors have told us his life expectancy is eight months, or potentially longer if the tumor responds well to treatment.

Eric is just 42 years old, and he’s currently in the ICU at Presbyterian Hospital. He will soon begin chemotherapy and radiation, but the costs of these treatments are overwhelming. Unfortunately, our insurance only covers a portion of his care, leaving us with significant medical expenses.

As Eric focuses on fighting this battle, he won’t be able to work, which means I’m now the sole provider for our family of seven. We have five children, ages 2, 14, 16, 16, and 18, and it will be a daily struggle to keep up with the bills, take care of our kids, and be by Eric’s side through this.

Eric is the most loving husband and father, and he’s always put our family first. He served in the 82nd Airborne unit, dedicating his time and efforts to back our country. Now it’s our turn to back him as well. I want to do everything I can to support him in this fight. But I can’t do it alone. I’m asking for your help to ease the financial burden of his treatment and to help us cover living expenses during this uncertain time.
