Hi everyone.
The Millili's took their cat Jasmine to the vet on 5/10 for an upper respiratory infection. However, unexpectedly, the vet found a cancerous mass in her stomach. What was supposed to be a quick trip to the vet has turned into a nightmare.
Jasmine had a radiologist appointment 10/15, in which, through ultrasound, the veterinarian found jasmine’s lymph nodes to be very swollen, her liver and spleen to be swollen, and her small intestine appearing thick. The vet did an aspiration with a needle to obtain fluid. From this test, Jasmine was officially diagnosed with lymphoma.
Jasmine is only 10 years old and is the most lovable, easy going, and friendly cat. She spends her days snuggling with her family, observing the world outside through the windows, making LOTS of biscuits, bathing in the sun, and playing with her other cat family members. Her owners consider her their therapy cat, as she always provides comfort to them in moments of stress. She is full of life and has so much life left in her.
The next step is to provide Jasmine with treatment. As without any treatment, Jasmine will only live a few more weeks to a month. Lymphoma in cats is extremely treatable using chemotherapy. However, chemotherapy is insanely expensive. Hence, any donation will help the Millili's pay for Jasmine’s appointments and chemotherapy treatments. The Millili's are devastated and the last thing they need is to worry about finances in the process of trying to treat and make Jasmine as comfortable as possible.
