Ellis is the funny, cheeky, beautiful two year old son of our friends, Chloe and Neil and little brother to the amazing, Lily.
Sadly, in July 2023, Ellis was diagnosed with high risk, stage 4 neuroblastoma, leaving his family and friends heartbroken. Ellis is 1 of 100 children in the UK every year to be diagnosed with Neuroblastoma which by its nature, is one of the hardest cancers to treat.
Ellis is currently undergoing a gruelling 12 month treatment programme and the aim is to see him go into remission and for him to travel to New York for a vaccine to help prevent a relapse. The cost of the vaccine is in excess of £250,000 and it is not available in the UK.
Ellis’ mummy, Chloe has already started fundraising and is documenting Ellis’ journey online, to help raise awareness. Follow Ellis’ story here: https://instagram.com/chloeingreyspmu?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
We are running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 7 April 2024 to help raise money for Ellis’ treatment and to show our support for such an amazing little boy and his wonderful family.
We are not “runners” and none of us have completed a marathon before but if Ellis can continue to smile and laugh through his treatment, we know we can do this for him.
We are grateful for any donation and would ask that you share our page as much as possible, to raise awareness for this great cause.
Love Chloe, Joe, Sam and Thomas
