It is with great sorrow to share that another one of gods own was taken away from us this past weekend. Joshua Carl Osterson suddenly passed away shortly after having a family dinner and going to sleep next to the love of his life. It is impossible to convey the shock, sorrow, and strain that we feel in this moment.
Josh was a wonderful father to two daughters: Haidyn and Zoey. They are so sad to lose their daddy. His parents, Gail and Tandy Osterson, are in total disbelief about losing their son so young. Josh was born in 1982, making him 38 years young. Josh enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. You might of remembered him dressed in camo, hunting to provide a feast, or on the lake fishing, regardless of the season. What he valued most was spending time with his friends and family. He was recently engaged to his true love, Laura Sharkey, and dreamed of a life together with her, her children (who he loved and adored), and his two little angels.
With the untimely passing of Josh, we have been taken by surprise in so many ways. We are not as prepared as we would like to be for funeral expenses. We ask for any help you can provide. In these tough times, anything will help. We are planning to hold services in the summer due to Covid, but we need to pay for crematorium fees now and hope to raise the funds as soon as possible. All funds will go to his mother, Gail. We deeply appreciate your generosity and understanding in our time of struggle.
Josh was an amazing father, brother, spouse, and friend. He has impacted so many lives. We will miss you Josh, more than the moon misses the light.
'If you can always remember me, I will be with you always.”
