My name is Amy Park and I’m from Seattle, WA. My parents, Hyok and Sunghee Park are also located in WA state are the beneficiaries.
Our family has endured a tremendous tragedy. My brother, our DANIEL, has suffered an injury during his trip in Maui, Hawaii that has left him paralyzed from the shoulders down.

During this hardship, we ask that you lend a hand through donation so that we can bring our Daniel home safe from Maui to Seattle. Due to his circumstances, the only way we can get him to a spinal rehabilitation center is through a private plane with specialized professional care at an expense we simply cannot afford.

We will use the funds from this campaign to pay for the expenses with an air ambulance that quote around $85,000-$95,000. The expenses include professional care needed inflight, the private plane and the transportation from the plane to the spinal rehabilitation center at the UW medical center in Seattle, WA. The fund will also be used for any modifications necessary for our home and car such as installing ramps once Daniel is ready to leave the spinal rehabilitation center.

For me personally, Daniel is my big brother. I’ve always looked up to all his talent and optimism to face anything without a doubt in his mind that he can achieve anything. Not only is he talented beyond physical ability like record breaking kicks in football, pole vault, flips and tricks, golf, snowboarding, soccer, and more, I’ve always wanted to shine like he does when he enters a room. His humor radiates and I would dare you to try not laughing at his jokes.

I’ve been blessed all my life to learn under the most lively, confident, loving, protective big brother. I will not let him down. I will never give up on him because I know whole heartedly that he would do the same for me. That is why I am personally asking you to donate. Please help us get him home so we can further provide the medical attention he so desperately needs.

Our lives are extremely fragile. Accidents happen everyday, some at higher costs than others. We can only pray and hope that no one else has to endure what has happened to our family.
