This year finds me building my empty nest. My life has shifted completely and I find myself creating a home using those natural materials I have grown up around on my sweet orchard property in Dixon. I have made it to vigas but need a chunk of money to purchase the plywood for the attic, sub floor, and roof. I already have my metal roofing, rafters, as well as much of my other building materials and appliances but I need a roof to protect my investment. If anybody noticed building materials are frightfully expensive and winter isn't waiting.
