We have six months — that’s it — to stop around 170 rescued dogs from being forced back onto the streets in Phuket. If we don’t raise enough to secure land and build a new sanctuary for Bodhi Sanctuary, the dogs will lose the only safe place they have. And for many of them, the street isn’t “hard but survivable” — it’s the end. These dogs include the injured, the sick, the traumatised, the weak, and the ones that need daily care. Without food, shelter, and medical support, the reality is many will suffer, and some will not survive.
Bodhi is run by Tina, an amazing woman who has kept this sanctuary alive through pure heart and determination. But after losing her biggest donor, she’s been forced to cover shortfalls herself just to keep the dogs fed and cared for. Now we’re facing a deadline we can’t ignore. We’re not fundraising for something fancy — we’re fundraising for the essentials: secure land, and a proper permanent facility with kennel blocks, quarantine areas, fencing, drainage, electricity, water systems, storage, and a basic clinic space. A place built to protect these dogs long-term — so they’re never at risk of being displaced again.
