Michael's Cancer Battle & Supporting his Wife
Donation protected
Hello everyone! Unfortunately, this may be the first time you are hearing this news and we're really sorry that it had to be this way. Michael was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Burkitt Lymphoma after suffering with severe abdominal pain. Through this process, he has undergone many forms of testing and has now started chemotherapy (1 of 6 rounds) to treat it. Obviously, with a battle like this, medical bills stack up quickly and we want to rally around him to show our love and support through this difficult time. Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated by Michael and his loved ones.
Update 4/23/22 - Just wanted to provide an update on this…Michael completed his first round of chemo and unfortunately, there’s still a small mass left so he will be moving forward into a round of radiation. Continued prayers for healing and financial support are much appreciated. We believe in you, Michael!
Update 5/16/22 - Michael had started radiation to tackle the remaining mass (noted above) but faced unbearable abdominal pain during the course of it. The doctors decided to re-evaluate with another pet scan and found that the cancer was resisting the radiation (making it refractory Burkitt Lymphoma) and will need to be redirected back to chemo. In addition to the chemo, he will face (an even) more serious treatment, such as a bone marrow transplant or clinical study, in hopes of leading to remission. Thus, we ask with great urgency for as many prayers, and donations, as possible.
