NYU Fast for Philippines

Tax deductible
The Philippines has been struck by a Super Typhoon nicknamed Haiyan-Yolanda. It is the largest super typhoon in recorded history, and has killed over 2,000 residents and displacing over 660,000. Aid is trickling in slowly and many small towns have still not received any medical attention or food. Every penny counts, as every day that passes as another day someone does not have water to drink or food to eat.

Donations go to The American Red Cross to aid their effort in aiding the Philippines. To show our support, NYU Freshman residents of Goddard, Hayden, Rubin and Weinstein will be taking a 24 hour fast-- abstaining from all food and drink, and garnering funds from sponsors.
