Traci Jors

Traci Jors is a Network Specialist on the Technical Service Support team (TSS) and is located in Potosi, WI. Traci has been with TDS for 17 years. On April 30th 2024, Traci was diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukemia. Due to the acute and aggressive onset of this diagnosis, she was informed that she would immediately need to go to Iowa City Hospital. Traci was in the hospital for 4 weeks for chemo treatments She had her first bone marrow biopsy on her day of admission, and had another one done on day 14 of her stay. The results of her second biopsy determined she will need a bone marrow transplant. Traci had a 2nd round of Chemo one month after 1st chemo treatment and was hospitalized for 1 week during that time. They are working on a bone marrow donor. If they do not have one finalized in a month, she will have to go thru another round of chemo. Traci will have to travel to University Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa, which is 2 hr travel time 1 way, 3 times a week for lab work and possible transfusions. Traci has a long road ahead of her. Traci will not be able to return to work for about 9 to 12 months. Any financial assistance to cover her rising medical bills and travel expenses would be greatly appreciated, and would definitely help as she faces this fight.
