Larry Arnold joined MYCON General Contractors as a traveling superintendent, based from our Central Texas location. With two decades of experience, a strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence, Larry proved to be a tremendous asset and quickly earned his fellow MYCONIANs and clients’ trust and respect.
A traveling superintendent’s role and lifestyle are unique – it can certainly take a toll on them, as well as family. Larry was a loving, proud, dedicated, and loyal family man who loved being a MYCONIAN and his position with MYCON. Larry and his family decided to relocate from their home in California to Texas to bring those worlds together.
In December 2020, Larry returned to California to spend the holidays with his family and pack their home to move half-way across the country. Tragically, Larry became critically ill during this time and passed away on January 10, 2021.
The world shattered that January day for Stormy, the love of his life, and three children ages ten years, three years and nine months. While we are unsure what the future may hold for this lovely family, we know that a transition like this is never easy – physically, emotionally, and financially.
A great superintendent, Larry was an even better person and will be missed beyond measure. This page is for MYCONIANs to share their condolences. If you feel moved to donate to help ease this transition or leave an inspiring message, we will make sure it reaches the family.
Please keep the Arnold family in your hearts and your prayers.
