The accident resulted a severe neck injury and has caused significant damage to his spinal cord. He was airlifted to the Alfred hospital where he has since had two major operations so far. The first operation involved relieving pressure on his spinal cord while the second operation removed fragments of bone as well as two vertebrae.
In order to get the best possible outcome for Josh, we, his family are reaching out to the community with the hope of getting Josh some financial support to help cover his ongoing medical needs.
Josh is incredibly kind and loves to spend time with family, friends and partner Jade. His love for the outdoors would see him, camping, fishing, and snowboarding and his competitive nature is evident when playing for the Eltham Rugby Union Football Club.
Josh worked very hard to become a qualified Electrician and recently purchased his first house. He is always there to help his mates and family and never asks for anything in return.
The road to recovery isn’t going to be easy for Josh, but he is strong willed, determined and will fight for the best outcome. The lengthy extent of his treatment will unfortunately pose a hefty financial burden on Josh and his family.
Let us all contribute what we can afford, no matter how big or small towards helping Josh on his road to recovery. Your generosity will be going to a great cause and will be greatly appreciated by Josh and his family.
