Mike Mogus Memorial/Reception

This campaign is to raise funds to cover the costs for Mike’s reception following his funeral service, Friday, 16 Mar 18. Funds raised will cover the costs for the food, bartender and shadow box. This week we received sad news that an old friend and comrade, Sgt Mike Mogas (retired) passed away in his sleep. Mike enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1986 and served as a MSE Op in Calgary before transferring to the Regular Force. He returned home & retired to Calgary in 2016. He was the best of the best and we will all miss him dearly. He was always cracking jokes and raising morale. He had an infectious laugh that instantly put a smile on all our faces. Affectionately known as “Mogie”, he touched all of our lives. Funds raised will ensure a proper and fitting tribute to an amazing man and brother-in-arms.

Any overage of funds raised will be donated to the family and/or put towards a permanent memorial held in the unit or mess lines. Details are TBC.
