Help for Crystal

I am reaching out to ask for your help for our friend Crystal, who is facing an incredibly challenging time in her life. Crystal has been diagnosed with SO MANY ILLNESSES, including Lupus, Epstein Barr Virus, tumors pressing on her spine, kidneys, and other organs; and nearly 15 other diseases and illnesses. This has been a challenging season for her, especially having to walk most of it alone. She is extremely sick right now and has continued to work because that is the only option she has. Over the last couple years she has been through many doctors appointments, treatments, time off work, blood infusions, MRI’s, biopsies, ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, scans, neurological testing, medications, special diet, supplements, etc. and she is in a place where she needs her community more than ever.

Crystal is scheduled to undergo invasive surgery on May 16 to remove many large tumors. The doctors estimate that it will be at least 6 weeks of recovery, during which she will be unable to work, care for herself, or carry out her usual daily activities. As you can imagine, the cost of medical bills, medications, and other expenses associated with this surgery will be enormous, and then the stress of not being able to work.

This is why I'm asking for your help today. To come around and support her (cue Sarah McLachlan song, In The Arms Of An Angel… Are you laughing? Good. Crystal would want you to be laughing). She would never ask for it, but as her friends and community we have the privilege to rally around her and help her through this time. She is hopeful that this surgery will give her back a quality of life that she hasn’t had in several years. I have set up a GoFundMe page, and any donations no matter how small would be greatly appreciated during this time.
