5 years ago, Emma suddenly got a headache.  Since that day, she has not been without pain.  

Yes, we have been to every available doctor, naturopath, nutritionist and psychiatrist.  The Neurologists are calling this "An Intractable Migraine".  On a pain scale of 1-10, she goes from 7 to 10 everyday of her life for the past 5 years.  This year, she missed 103 days of school and is nearly fully dysfunctional due to pain. 

Often, as in once a week, Emma gets Hemiplegic migraines which requires a trip to the ER.

Due to the type of insurance, the treatments have been limited and frankly, completely unsuccessful.  She is on many migraine drugs and this is also taking a toll on her health. As you can see, one of her meds has caused her hair to fall out!  Pain is debilitating and causes despair in her as well.
