My name is Chasity I am 47 years old female. My son had an altercation with his baby mama's boyfriend the guy came to my house I was coming out the front door he was raising the hood up to the truck and I told my son to go inside my son made it ..inside and I told him he needed to leave in the dude shot me. The guy shot me once but he shot eight times immediately but 911 was dialed, I was taken to the local hospital where they had to save my life, I was in ICU for 2 weeks exact from there they brought me to a floor I had the bullet in me and they didn't want to take it out because it would have damaged my whole body so the bullet stayed in me it was a traveling bullet that was very scary for me 7 months after I got shot which was August 14th of 2020 the bullet came out God is so good, with that being said I was left paralyzed my whole life changed in a matter of minutes, I can no longer go to the bathroom by myself I can no longer go to the shower by myself I can no longer stand up to be able to do the things that I was doing before this new lifestyle and the reason why is because I took a bullet for my son so that's why I'm in a wheelchair the bullet paralyzed me, it damaged my spine t10, is not easy being the way that I am but I trust in God and he know he's going to always make a way I have came a long ways since August 14th of 2020 I wanted to give up on myself I gave up on myself for a whole year and then I started thinking I do I really want to be like this for the rest of my life so I started going to therapy trying to do progression making so much has happened to me after I got shot but. So I'm asking for a fundraise because I'm in the progress of moving inside handicap accessible unit that has a walk-in shower and so much more that way I can have an easier way in life God is so good so I'm needing help with moving to my new location and getting things together I have never once used this GoFundMe account but right now I'm using it because I talked to a doctor today and he said this would be a good idea for me to do so I'm just asking everyone to please take this in seriously and pass this along as I said this GoFundMe account and I thank y'all for each and everything that y'all can do for me God bless yall thank you
