As many may know already, my family has been through a tremendous amount of trauma as the passed 8 months have been the worst months of our lives and it is now going to be even harder.

Last Halloween my dad had a procedure done that was supposed to be an easy fix, one that the surgeon had done hundreds of times with complete success... unfortunately for my dad and our Family that success ran out. My dad had a complication the next day that caused him to lose his airway which cut of oxygen to his brain for 8 minutes causing permanent brain damage to the point he can do 0 communcation or voluntary actions. For the passed 7 months my mom and family have been doing our best to do everything we can to give him time to heal, but with new testing it shows he has only gotten much worse and we have been told it will not ever come back. This means my family will be losing our loving dad/husband of my mom. This on Top of a multitude of other horrible traumatic things that have happened during all of this.

Rachel(my wife) and I don't have much in terms of financial backing and/or leave to be able for us both to go be with family during this time due to recently moving plus needing to travel from recent other family member passing and are in need of help to get there. This money would help us travel to be with family and hopefully be able to be there for a bit of time to be with family. This ask feels shameful and we hate to ask but we are not sure of many other options that we have. Thank you ❤️
