David Wilson Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is Mikayla and last Monday my Uncle Dave fell following his Below-the-Knee amputation and sustained a traumatic brain injury. He passed away suddenly the morning of Friday, July 22, 2022, surrounded by those he loved. David Wilson taught so many of us about self-sufficiency, finding joy in the mundane, to appreciate art in every form, to love hard, and to be yourself.

Due to the sudden and unexpected nature of his passing, his family didn’t have adequate time to plan and financially prepare for a memorial and celebration of his life and the impact he made on so many.

He leaves behind his wife, Sarah; his children (Lazlo (12), Opal, Alex, Tyrus, and Gabriel); Step-Children (Lucy, Lily, Silas, and Gideon); and grandchildren, as well as several family members and friends.

Any additional leftover funds will be used to support his youngest son, Lazlo, and his education and future.
