Final update: The shelter has been built and was delivered to my home a few days ago, and the cats are really enjoying exploring it, and just as I was outside in the falling snow, I saw Oscar tuck himself away in the new shelter and im so very grateful to the generous donations I received, without you, this would not have been possible. You not only changed the lives of two little cats, but my own as well, because I truly have faith that good humans exist, I can't express my gratitude enough. This came just in time for this arctic weather that has arrived. I can sleep well knowing they are warm and safe. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart ❤️

Update#2
Thank you to Joshua Arnold and the other three (anonymous) people who came together to help two little cats have a safe place to go! Without all of you, this couldn't have happened and you have the deepest gratitude of myself, Oscar and Sadie. The world still has good humans, and I feel so blessed for the support of my cause. I didn't have much hope when I started this fundraiser. I thank you from the deepest parts of my heart!❤️
Update: Thanks to some very generous donors, and an additional donation from a good friend, a safe place for these two creatures is close to becoming a reality! I thank you, from the bottom of my heart ❤️
I have been caring for some feral cats that I have socialized, and have one of the two spayed. The other has an appointment with Spay Taos.
I live in an area with a lot of wildlife, and it's not the safest for a little cat. I'm hoping over time that I can bring them inside, but it is all a process as I have a house full at the moment.
It is my dream to have a safe space for them to escape both the danger and the weather. They are wonderful cats, and having a secure, permanent shelter is the goal. As for myself, I have a disability and do not currently have the funds to build or buy a good, structurally sound shelter. I have tried the feral cat shelters of different sorts, and they just won't take to them. They instead prefer a makeshift shelter that is okay for now, but it's not insulated. It is a place to get out of the weather, but not a place to escape a predator.
Please help make a safe space for 2 cats, just trying to survive like we all are.
The community has been generous with me, with donations of straw, Styrofoam shelters, a heated cat house (that they flat out refuse), and cat food. Any funds leftover, if any, will go towards food/vet care for both of them.
Please consider donating to Oscar and Sadie's future shelter. I ask for help not for myself, but on behalf of two little cats.
Thank you,
Oscar, Sadie, and Sama
