Travis Walker

Hello, my name is Melinda “Walker” Krotky. We have started this go fund me page for my brave 11 year old nephew Travis Walker. Last August , Travis was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He has been battling this cancer for over a year now. This past spring after several rounds of chemotherapy, Travis cancer returned after a short remission. We are trying to raise funds for medical expenses. Travis has recently had 3 more rounds of chemo and also had his stem cells harvested. Due to the aggressive cancer that he has, his oncologist have scheduled him for a bone marrow transplant. Travis will be hospitalized in Akron Childrens Hospital,and quarantined for 100 days .during this transplant, along with very strong chemo ,Travis’ Mom , Gretchen , and my Brother Tom Walker , will be the only ones able to see him. Gretchen is a school teacher , and will not be able to work or bring in an income as she will be with Travis through the whole process. Travis has a younger brother my nephew Logan who is 5 years old. My brother and family will be caring for him as well , as he cannot be with his big brother for 100 days . Due to the expense of Gas and the long hospital stay and Gretchen not being able to work, you can see why we started this go fund me for my Brother and his precious Boy. We also appreciate all of the outpouring of support and prayers for my sweet nephew. He is just a wonderful kid. I can’t express enough how much he means to all of us.
