Lahaina Wildfire: Save the Banyan Tree

Tax deductible
Aloha Maui ‘Ohana. It is with extremely heavy hearts that Lahaina Restoration Foundation acknowledges the horrific loss of life, destruction and devastation to our historic town. There are many valiant efforts nationally to help get vital resources to the people.

As a new beginning, we would like to bring HOPE to Lahaina and start by saving our beloved Banyan Tree, which celebrated its 150th Birthday this year. Time is critical, as we need our arborist to be able to tend to the tree as soon as possible to save her life. Hawaiian Island Creations (HIC) has passionately stepped up with a leadership pledge of $100,000 to fund this effort.

Anyone who has visited Lahaina has escaped the searing heat of the town under the shade of the majestic Banyan Tree. Under the guidance of the Lahaina Restoration Foundation and the expertise of Arbor Global, we hope the tree will come back to life. It will serve as a reminder to the people of Lahaina and throughout the world that Lahaina can, and will come back. Your support will be instrumental to make that happen. From our hearts, mahalo nui loa.

Lahaina Restoration Foundation is a 501-C3 nonprofit organization and your donation will go directly to fund the restoration of the Banyan Tree. Any additional funds raised will go towards the reconstruction of Lahaina’s many historic sites.
