Chopping off my hair!
It’s official! On 29th May, after growing my hair for over a year, I am chopping it off (well the hairdresser I have booked with be doing the actual chopping)! The plan is to cut off 12 inches of hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust is a charity who provide free, real-hair wigs to children who have lost their own hair due to cancer to help restore their confidence and identity. As well as this, they carry out ground-breaking research projects into childhood cancer.
On top of cutting and donating my hair, I wanted to start a fundraiser as it costs on average £700 for the Little Princess Trust to provide one wig to one child so any donation you can make, will help them to turn my hair into a wig for a child in need.
This is something that I have always wanted to do because cancer has such a negative impact on the lives of those effected by it and if my hair can make even a small difference to someone in that situation then that’s all the thanks I need. I am so excited for the chop and thank you in advance for any donations made ☺️
