Pablo’s Palawopec Experience

Pablo Camarena (pictured far right) is in a very unfortunate situation. His family is victim of a robbery that took a lot of their savings, including the money that was saved to send Pablo to camp. Full details will not be disclosed but Pablo barely has enough money for regular luxuries, let alone Camp Palawopec. If Pablo were to go to camp this year it would be his 4th year at camp, and also his first year as a staff member. He would be in the position of CIT (councilor in training) so it would cost the regular amount of a camper to attend for two weeks which is $1,295 dollars. He would also need money for a round trip plane ticket from Mexico City, Mexico to Indianapolis, Indiana. This would cost around 640 dollars. In total we are asking for $2,000 dollars to be raised for our friend because nobody should be denied the camp experience, especially when it is their first year as a staff. For all of us trying to raise money for Pablo, we have been shaped for the better in the valley between two hills known as Camp Palawopec and we can’t imagine being there without Pablo. Please help him on his camp journey this summer and any donation, big or small, will help tremendously.
