In 2016, at the age of 35, Nick was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Over the past 1.5+ years Nick has endured ongoing surgeries, diagnostic imaging examinations, and chemotherapy. Nick and his devoted wife, Elyse Cowan, have travelled to and from hospitals countless times. As a means of fully investing their energy towards Nick's health and well-being, time has been channeled away from their careers. Their resources are invested in Nick's fight.

At this time, Nick and Elyse continue to research treatment options as they were advised that their options in Canada are now limited. Additional medical tests are required to determine the most effective form of treatment; they have started these tests through the US, which are not covered by OHIP. Testing may identify treatment outside of Canada that is expensive to purchase. WE ARE NOT GIVING UP HOPE!

Over the final 2 weeks of our Campaign we aim to raise funds to help alleviate external stressors, decrease daily travel expenses, and reduce medical expenses.

It is our hope that together, we can help support Nick and Elyse through this battle.
