Hello everyone! 2020 has been a rough year on each and everyone one of us, emotionally, physically and financially. While we all are hoping for a better year to come, some of these burdens are just too much to recover from on our own so we are turning to you for some help.
A dear member of our Novy family, Carlos Ramirez, unexpectedly and suddenly lost his father, Mario de Jesus Ramirez Cañas, earlier this week . Both Carlos and his father came to San Francisco from San Vicente, El Salvador in hopes of a better life for themselves and their family. The two of them worked countless hours not just to support themselves here, but to make sure the rest of their family who remain in El Salvador had enough resources to live a comfortable life.
The loss of a father is already painful enough for a family, not to mention the financial aspects of organizing a proper burial plan. It is the Ramirez family's wish and desire to have Mario laid to rest back in his home city of San Vicente. The logistics and costs of this transport are becoming exponential, especially amidst a global pandemic where protocols have changed and work is not as easy to find. We are hoping to take some of this stress off of Carlos and the rest of the Ramirez family.
Any amount you wish to contribute is beyond appreciated by all of the Ramirez family as well as the entire team here at Novy. Thank you so much for you generosity, stay safe and hug your loved ones.
-Carlos Ramirez, Zoe Frankel and the entire Novy Family
