Taylor’s Team

Donation protected
On the afternoon of June 22, 2020 my healthy 24 year old niece Taylor Nelson just finished  an appointment with a chiropractor when he called 911 due to his visual assessment of her presenting with symptoms of a stroke.
Sadly, his concerns were confirmed with an MRI and CT scan!
Taylor was diagnosed with Vertebral Artery Dissection (VAD) and placed in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit. She had a blood clot in her neck, and was given blood thinners as well as aspirin in hopes of dissolving or reducing the size of the blot clot.
Unfortunately, it was moving dangerously close to her brain, and Taylor continued to suffer from several more strokes.
As of today, Sunday, June 28, 2020 Taylor has undergone three major neurological surgeries.
This single mother of a 3 year old boy is currently in the fight of her life with the support of an incredible neurological team, family, and prayer warriors! Taylor is experiencing paralysis on the left side of her body, and the doctors are not able to provide a long term prognosis due to complications that could arise at any given time. Therefore, her status is very fluid.
We won’t fully know the devastating consequences until she has stabilized. We do know that she has a difficult journey and recovery ahead of her that will include a rehabilitation center.
Our hope and prayer is to alleviate some of the financial burden as the medical bills begin to accumulate. We completely understand the current hectic state of our world, and would sincerely appreciate any donation you can make. We are also asking all of you,  our prayer warriors to keep Taylor and her son Carter in your prayers.
