In 2023, through generous donations, The Giving Circle opened a medical clinic in Mutai Village, Uganda, a profoundly poor community where access to healthcare was once a distant dream. Since then, the clinic has become a lifeline, providing essential medical care, maternal health services, and life-saving treatments to those in desperate need. While we have made tremendous strides, today we are at a crossroads. Our current fundraising abilities are stretched to the limit. With recent federal cuts in USAID, supplies traditionally paid for like PPE, antibiotics and antivirals will be in limited supply. These cuts have forced a number of clinics to close, making our clinic even more important and needed to meet increased demand.
