Final Preparations - A One Man Show

Hello Everyone! My name is Brogan Alonzo (assistant to performer). I am starting this fundraiser for a performance coming soon to Los Angeles, CA! Written by and starring Christopher Lyons in his one man show “Final Preparations” at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Purpose for donations: The cost of putting on a one-man-show takes more than one man unfortunately. All donations are being used to pay for the venue and show costs exclusively. Synopsis of the show: Poe, a former art student, has made his living working late nights at the mortuary where he can use his talents to bring “life” to the dead with makeup to prepare bodies for burial. However, tonight his “canvas” is a little girl; a child prodigy that was a world class pianist. What starts as just another day on the job becomes a reflection on art, until things take a few horrifying turns.

About the performer: Writer-actor Christopher Lyons holds the Los Angeles premiere of his one-man-horror show at the Hollywood Fringe. It’s world premiere was part of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s 2016 MFA Showcase in Birmingham, UK. Christopher, a long time horror fan, intended to explore how to scare an audience with live theatre. With the success of “Final Preparations” in Birmingham, he’s opted to try the show in the United States for those who dare to test their will in a darkened theatre, one actor, and a corpse…

June 22nd: 10:30-11pm

This is a 30 minute show with no intermission. There will be NO ADMITTANCE after the start of the show. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE LATE.
