In Memory of Mark

The love of my life and husband of 45 years, Mark Peterson, passed away suddenly from heart failure on September 2nd. He collapsed, the paramedics came, they flew him to Seattle on a Flight for Life…and then he was gone. We didn’t even have a chance to say goodbye. Now, as I sit in my unbearable grief without my other half, I am also riddled with unbearable debt. The helicopter from Port Townsend to Seattle alone cost $25,000. Mark and I had been working hard to pay down the significant debt we had accrued due to Mark’s two back surgeries, one neck surgery, and stints put in his heart during the five years prior. We were just getting on our feet…when fate cruelly intervened. And now…I need help. I am eternally grateful to anyone who feels compelled to donate.
