Battling rare genetic disorder

Hey everyone! I'm making this gofundme for my brother Martin aka Pelochas.

For the past year he has been battling an unknown illness which results in paralysis of his legs/arms.

Back in February he went to ER and we were able to find some answers.

My brother has a very rare genetic disorder called Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis. There is no cure and the key is to control his potassium levels, which is difficult in his body due to the disease. Since then, he has gone back to the hospital 2 times, most recent was at a verge of a heart attack. The HypoPP effects the muscles and heart as well as kidneys.

This has been affecting his work, he has his own business and unable to move and feeling weak he hasn't been able to get as much work as he would like, since his work is all physical labor.

As you can imagine bills never stop coming in. This gofundme will be for his medical bills as well as home bills.

Durante el último año ha estado luchando contra una enfermedad desconocida que le provoca parálisis de piernas y brazos. En febrero fue a urgencias y pudimos encontrar algunas respuestas. Mi hermano tiene un trastorno genético muy raro llamado parálisis periódica hipopotasémica. No existe cura y la clave es controlar sus niveles de potasio, lo cual es difícil en su organismo debido a la enfermedad. Desde entonces, ha vuelto al hospital dos veces, la más reciente estuvo al borde de un infarto. El HypoPP afecta los músculos y el corazón, así como los riñones. Esto ha estado afectando su trabajo, tiene su propio negocio y al no poder moverse y sentirse débil no ha podido conseguir todo el trabajo que quisiera, ya que su trabajo es todo trabajo físico. Como puede imaginar, las facturas nunca dejan de llegar. Este gofundme será para sus facturas médicas y también para las facturas del hogar. ¡Cualquier cosa ayuda!
